Hutton Manor Care Home, operated by St Mary’s Care Homes, recently brought residents, families, staff and members of the local community together to celebrate a fantastic achievement after receiving a ‘Good’ rating across all areas from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The Pudsey-based home received a positive inspection result, recognising the home’s commitment to delivering high-quality care, safety, leadership and support for residents. Inspectors awarded ‘Good’ in every category, highlighting the team’s dedication to providing a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for those who live at the home.

To mark the milestone, the home hosted a special celebration event featuring a drinks reception, a live singer, and a buffet for guests to enjoy together.

Among those attending the event were local Councillor for Pudsey, Swinnow & Tyersal, Trish Smith, as well as representatives from the Royal British Legion’s Pudsey and Farsley branch. The home has recently formed a partnership with the branch to host a veterans’ café at Hutton Manor, creating a welcoming space for veterans and members of the local community to come together.

Hutton Manor Care Home Manager Zaneta Balcerak said:

“We are incredibly proud to have been rated ‘Good’ across all areas by the CQC. It reflects the dedication and teamwork of our staff, who work so hard every day to ensure our residents feel safe, comfortable and supported. It was wonderful to celebrate this achievement with our residents, their families and members of the local community, and we are especially grateful to those who joined us, including Councillor Trish Smith and the Pudsey and Farsley Royal British Legion. Our new veterans’ café partnership is something we are really excited about and we look forward to welcoming veterans into the home.”

Steven Davis, CEO of St Mary’s Care Homes, added:

“Receiving a ‘Good’ rating across all areas from the CQC is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to Zaneta and the entire team at Hutton Manor. Their commitment to delivering high-quality care and creating a warm, supportive environment for residents is clear to see. It’s also wonderful to see the home building meaningful partnerships in the community, such as the veterans’ café initiative with the Royal British Legion, which will make a real difference locally.”
